Volunteers are needed to welcome visitors, show the Museum and explain the Exhibits. More importantly you will help to keep the Museum open to the public three days a week, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Staff members will train you in Museum operations and work with all new Docents.
A wonderful way to use your spare time, to meet and work with interesting people and to expand your knowledge of the County.
Volunteers are also needed to perform research, write articles, make presentations, compile newsletters and bulletins, and update/locate records on the computer. Those with skills to organize and manage projects and events are welcome. Host and hostesses are needed for special occasions.
