The order of the Founders and Patriots of America, a non-profit dedicated to preserving records of the first colonists (those who established residence in the colony within 50 years of the founding of Jamestown), is placing a plaque at the gravesite of John Lewis. The Lewis Cemetery is located at 565 Poropotank, Shacklesford, VA 23156. A similar plaque has been placed at the grave of Augustine Warner I at Warner Hall in Gloucester County. Please join us there.
