Museum Celebrates 2018 Holiday Season
On Sunday, December 2, although the sky was overcast and damp, the Museum echoed with the merry sounds of the holidays. The Museum Council thanks the community for their attendance and support. A special thank you to King & Queen Elementary School music teacher Jamie Lantz, his assistant Karen Mumaw, and their students for the wonderful music program; the Upper King & Queen Ruritan Club, the Central High School Parent Tiger Community Fellowship, and the Museum Council for a delicious selection of refreshments; the volunteers who assisted with the many children’s activities; and the quilters who demonstrated their skills and product. Also, we cannot forget the visit from Santa – he chose to use the buggy in the Carriage House as his location because of the rain. We wish everyone a memorable holiday season and a happy new year!
