The principal businesses in King and Queen County have been agriculture, timber, and marine industries. Before the advent of machinery hand tools were used as an extension of a person’s hands for their daily line of work. The Museum has a collection of approximately thirty tools used over a hundred years ago for the farming, fishing, and forestry occupations.
